Hello Friends,
I’m excited to announce a show at the Berry Biodiversity Conservation Center in Laramie, Wyoming coming up in September and October! The reception will be Wednesday, Sept 9, 5-7 pm, and the show will be hanging Sept 2 through Oct 13. I hope to see you there if you are in the area!
I have been working on this series of 18 x 24 inch linocuts, and smaller pieces featuring wildlife for many years and haven’t had an opportunity to hang them all together before. I’m excited that they are now all in this beautiful atrium where biodiversity, science, art, education, and community are all priorities.

I’ve written a post on Creative Climate Action that showcases some of the art as well as a bit of background from growing up in Laramie and the connection to UW. There are also facts and action items related to the 6 species I shared in that post. I’m working on Part 2 now with info about 6 more species.
The work hanging for this show will be for sale, and I do have a link here for you newsletter subscribers to get early access! After the show closes on Oct 13, I’ll be able to deliver or ship any sold artwork. These are all original prints, many hand painted with gouache. Most have additional process images after you click on the first thumbnail. Please email if you have questions! jill@jillbergman.com
Thanks to the Berry Center for hosting this show! Thanks to Harold, Annie, and Lea Bergman for hanging, and thanks to Harold and friends for the support along my journey of learning to tell the stories of the important wildlife of the Rocky Mountain region.
Back at home in Steamboat Springs, Ann Feldman and I are still doing well and enjoying being at The Alley Gallery and Art Studios. Below is a photo with us with and our friend, Paulina M. Johnson in the middle. Several of Paulina’s beautiful paper on edge pieces are now hanging at the Alley regularly.

We usually have a featured guest artist at the Alley and rehang the space for every First Friday ArtWalk. If you’d like to keep up with what’s happening, Ann sends out a newsletter every month that has info about our new shows. Sign up at the bottom of this page. Or you could follow me on Instagram where I share info and images about the Alley and my own art adventures.
Happy fall and I hope you are starting to enjoy cooler temperatures!
