Northern Harrier Hawk
Northern Harrier Hawk
The Northern Harrier hawk has long wings, a long tail and a face like an owl. They fly low over the ground when hunting, and likely the shape of their faces mean they hear well like an owl. Northern Harriers have a range from the mid United States up through Canada and Alaska. This is a male which is light gray with black wing tips. Moses Sparks allowed me to use his beautiful photo as reference for this linocut.
This Northern Harrier linocut print is 9” x 12,” and the paper is 12” x 15.” It is printed on Rives BFK paper with black ink in an edition of 20.
