Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing
I worry about climate change impacts and human encroachment on natural landscapes and wildlife. Our wild habitats and rural spaces are shrinking and challenged by rapid changes in climate, drought, seasonal timing, and closing migration routes. These linocuts were printed onto topo maps of our National Forest areas in Northwest Colorado. Please stay vigilant in fighting to protect public lands from being sold, and support those who work with our forests, wildlife, public lands, and our rural landowners who care for the landscape and provide refuge and migration routes for wildlife. We are all interconnected, and humans need the wild spaces to remain healthy.
Forest Bathing is printed in a dark blue onto a National Forest topo map. Each map section may be from a slightly different place in NW Colorado. The printed image is 7.5” x 7.5” and the map paper is 11” x 11”. The limited edition size is 20 prints.
