Brown's Park Evening
Brown's Park Evening
This large landscape is based on the view across Brown’s Park, a desert in Northwest Colorado near the Northern entrance to Dinosaur National Monument. I love the sage brush, juniper, piñon trees, spring blooms, and long views. This is an area where my family likes to camp, and this piece is based on a photo I took one evening of a magnificent cloud.
Brown’s Park Evening was printed by Sue Oehme of Oehme Graphics with my assistance. We inked the block with the blues and greens and printed them together in one pass onto Rives BFK paper. The image is 34 × 48 inches, and it’s a limited edition of 5.
