The Four Elements mandala came about because I was asked to do a presentation for elementary students. The Mandala for Steamboat Springs had recently been out in conjunction with a visit and sand painting by Tibetan Monks. So, to prepare to have 120 3rd-5th graders each create their own mandala, I kept drawing, planning, and cutting out shapes for the students to trace. And it turned out I did a drawing I really liked!

This linocut is printed in green, blue, and purple ink on Rives BFK printmaking paper. It is an edition of 20 prints. The image is 12 x 12 inches and the paper is 15 x 15 inches.
